12. Click OK to apply the change and return to the document window.
The rulers change to
reflect the new
dimensions of the file.
Because you did not
resample the image,
the screen display
does not change.
13. Choose File>Save As.
The File>Save command save changes to the active file in the
current format and location.
The File>Save As command allows you to save a file with a
different name, in a different format, and/or in a different location.
The File>Save a Copy command allows you to easily save a
variation of a file in a different format — for example, a flat JPEG
file from a layered native Photoshop file. This command offers a certain level of
protection against accidentally overwriting a file when that is not your intent. When
you use this command, the word “copy” is automatically added to the name of the
new file you are saving (although you can delete that word if you choose).
14. In the resulting dialog box, click the Save on Your Computer button.
When you save a file in
Photoshop, you now have
a choice to save the file as a
Photoshop Cloud document,
or a regular Photoshop file on
your desktop. If you choose
the Save to Cloud Documents
button, the file is saved in
your Creative Cloud account
with the special extension
“.psdc”.
15. If necessary, navigate to
your WIP>Music folder
as the target location.
16. In the Save As/File Name field, change the word “Sunrise” to cd-artwork.
Since this is a basic image file with only one layer (so far), most of the other options in
the Save As dialog box are grayed out (not available).
